Dakota Hillside Inn — New Website!

We at WebWise Design & Marketing recently had the privilege of meeting and working with Barb and Ron Redwing. They are owners of the Dakota Hillside Inn nestled in the hillside along Grant County Road N in southwest Wisconsin, between Cassville and Potosi, WI.

The word unique is often overused, but that is not so when it comes to the Dakota Hillside Inn—built and hand-crafted with love and dedication from reclaimed wood from barns, sheds, homes, and other buildings in the area. The craftsmanship, design, and thoughtfulness provide an experience you will not find in guest houses and rental cabins elsewhere.

The Redwings live here and invite guests to stay with them for a night or two to enjoy this scenic area of southwest Wisconsin. They rent two suites. Each has a private entrance, living/dining area, bedroom, bath, and deck. Guests also have access to and use of their Common Areas.

The Dakota Hillside Inn property is as unique and beautiful as the interior. Barb's flowers and plants are amazing.

And…the Mississippi River and McCartney Landing are only 400 yards from the Dakota Hillside Inn (They have kayaks to rent!)

WebWise Towns & Villages Websites

WebWise Design & Marketing has been involved in economic development directly and indirectly since our earliest years. WebWise has worked continuously with the City of Fennimore, Wisconsin since 1995 and the City of Boscobel, WI since 1998, developing and maintaining their websites.

We have also worked continuously with Grant County Economic Development Corp. (GCEDC) since 1998 when we created the first grancounty.org website and recently launched the newest version. We have regularly gone to nearly all of the GCEDC meetings and have had the opportunity to learn and appreciate how dedicated the people on Town Boards (and their staff) in Grant County are.

Grant County Economic Development Corp in Wisconsin – New Website

At WebWise Design & Marketing, we are privileged to work with great organizations and extremely accomplished people. The result of our latest collaboration is a new version of the grantcounty.org website. The new website is mobile-friendly and device responsive. Every visitor has a good experience viewing, navigating, and finding the information they seek.

The Grant County WI website provides a significant amount of economic development information provided by the Grant County Economic Development Corporation, GCEDC, and tourism information provided by the Grant County Tourism Council, with help from University of Wisconsin Extension–Grant County.

The Grant County Economic Development Corporation works with Grant County and its cities, villages, and towns (townships) to promote the growth and retention of business and industry and to enhance the quality of life for Grant County Wisconsin residents. Through the efforts of Ron Brisbois, Executive Director of GCEDC, Darlene Mickleson, Executive Assistant and the support of the Grant County Board of Supervisors, business startups and businesses looking to expand or relocate will find a business-friendly environment along with several sizes and types of community Industrial & Business Parks with robust infrastructures and broadband access. Located in the southwest corner of Wisconsin, the Grant County terrain exemplifies the Driftless Area. Farm Well Wisconsin Website Launch

Last week the WebWise Design & Marketing team launched a new website for Farm Well Wisconsin, a service of the Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program, Inc.

We had the privilege of working with Chris Frakes, Farm Well Wisconsin Program Director. Her passion and commitment to developing and offering resources that support farmers’ health and well-being of farmers and their families in southwestern Wisconsin quickly became infectious. The WebWise team was all in.

You will easily find phone numbers for suicide prevention and farmer wellness hotlines and information with articles, tips, videos, recipes, and blog posts. Topics include, but are not limited to the following.
